Tiscali maybe the best known bronze age settlement of Sardinia.
Walk to Tiscali, a natural crater in the top of a mountain, from carsic origin. This means that it wasn’t formed through vulcanic activity but it originated as a cave, that eventually partially collapsed. This way the concave walls offered protection throughout the ages to different tribes of people.
If possible we always attempt to make a round-walk so that you get to enjoy the area and nature at its best.
Tiscali is best appreciated for the panoramic hike and for the extraordinary place and micro-climate in the so called “Dolina”, in short for its natural aspects, not for its archeological interest as there’s not much left standing of the man-made stone shelters.
